I didn't venture out today, so I photographed my Dalton Horse; I wasn't happy with any shots. So, I decided to create: Added a textured background, adding a line (wall meets the floor) for some realism so that the horse would not be floating in the air. I also darken the lower third to show a contrast, followed by Topaz's Abstract Flux filter - voila!

I purchased this little guy in a market in Africa a few years back, photographed in my Studio tabletop Lightbox, processed using Topaz BuzSim11 filter for this effect.
Sue from 365project.org challenged me to take an action shot at a shutter speed of 4000 or higher. Camera settings for this image were 1/4000 sec at f/2.8, ISO 200. He's getting a lot of hamstring action in. I'm hoping it fits the challenge.
Bought at the Bryanston Organic Farmer's Market in George, SA. Tucked between the food vendors; I noticed these beautiful ceramic plate shaped graters created by Mandla and hand-painted by his brother. It grates garlic into a smooth paste, ginger into a heaped pile and chocolate nuts and parmesan into tiny shavings. I purchased 20 pieces to give away as gifts, kept this one as it is my fav. The background is a pic I took of a ceramic countertop and added a film frame.
It came in the mail today! Looking forward to having fun with my KOTTO Third Hand or Hands! No comments necessary, Just playing around.
A southwestern view from the gym and pool area of our condo. Happy to say that I started using the gym again; it's been a while.
This image was taken with my iPhone as well as a drive by capture through a dirty window. The sun was setting, I decided to turn it to a b&w using Topaz Dramatic Black filter.
I took this image at 11:03 p.m. with my iPhone in a tabletop Lightbox. A small leaf disguised the floral foam and stuck a tiny dried rose in the foam—post-treatment using Nik Collection, Silver FX, Full Spectrum Inverse filter.
